For my studio I chose to work with Ella Baché, the French dermo-aesthetic house that brings together professional efficacy, respect for the skin and the sheer pleasure of being cared for. Founded in Paris in 1936, the brand still holds to its original philosophy: skincare that is tailored, targeted and remarkably gentle.
Behind it stands Madame Ella Baché — one of France's first female pharmacists and a pioneer of dermo-aesthetics. She was already formulating with actives that form the backbone of modern skincare today, among them AHAs and hyaluronic acid. From the very beginning her approach rested on a single idea: every complexion is different, and deserves to be treated that way.
This is not only about beautiful textures and the luxury of the treatment itself. It is about considered care that respects what the skin actually needs and works with naturally derived actives. Ella Baché's newer formulations contain at least 90% naturally derived ingredients, with a clean composition that leaves out a long list of contentious ones.
Every range draws on dermo-aesthetic technique and brings together science, natural actives and sensory pleasure — tomato antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, prebiotics, peptides and plant actives that support firmness and skin renewal.
Here, skincare is not treated as one more step in a routine, but as a moment of calm, renewal and self-respect. It is exactly this meeting of expertise, natural actives and ritual that made me choose this brand for my studio.
My name is Mónika Miklósová and skincare has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl I was fascinated by creams, by the scent of cosmetics, by the whole feeling of looking after yourself. I cannot recall a single day since when I left my skin completely unattended — and that is precisely why I now see how much consistency, gentleness and respect for the skin's needs really matter.
I am also a mother to two little girls, so I know very well how difficult it can be to find time for yourself in an ordinary day. That is why I believe skincare is not only about how you look. It is also about stopping for a moment, and giving yourself the same attention you give to everyone else.
Beautiful, healthy skin is not a question of perfection. It is a question of consistency, of the right care, and of noticing what your skin needs right now. Skin changes throughout life — it responds to stress, hormonal shifts, the seasons, tiredness and age. That is why an individual approach matters so much to me.
What I want my studio to be is a place where a facial is never just another appointment, but an hour of calm, release and quiet ritual. Because when you feel well within yourself, it shows.
